This is a call to get involved with your future and that of your children and grandchildren.
I grew up in the ’50s and served my country in the armed services, and worked nearly 40 years before retiring. Upon retiring, I had hoped to enjoy travel, hobbies and doing things I wanted to do when I wanted to do them.
What I am faced with are high gas prices hampering travel, an economy too slow to recover and a national debt with which our children and grandchildren will be burdened.
I found that I could no longer sit idly by and watch our great nation slide further into a European-style socialist nation. I began to get informed and, once informed, to get involved.
If you feel hopeless rather than the “hope and change” promised, do not waste an opportunity to get involved yourself. A great opportunity to do just that is coming to the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.
Join the Indiana-Armstrong Patriots, U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster, U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, Lt. Gov. Jim Cawley, Dr. Mark Hendrickson and Chris Wetherson for a forum on our debt and the future of Pennsylvania and the United States.
Too much is at stake not to take advantage of this informative opportunity right here in our community. See you there.
