Keystone State Park sets programs
August 31, 2013 10:49 AM

The following programs will be offered Sunday at Keystone Lake Park.

• Story Time by the Lake, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Join us at the amphitheater (on the camping side of the lake; park at the nearby visitor center) for a nature tale. Topics range from feathered friends to batty bug zappers.

• Trees of Keystone Hike, 2 to 3 p.m.

Trees are important to people and wildlife in many ways. Hike through a variety of habitats to learn folklore about these towering beauties. Meet at the visitor center. This program may conclude with a sample of “Indian lemonade.”

Call (724) 668-2566 or email pmcquistia@pa.gov for additional information about upcoming special events and nature and recreation programs at Keystone State Park.
