Someone discharged a fire extinguisher on the first floor of an apartment building along the first block of South 11th Street, according to borough police. Police said the incident occurred early Sunday morning.
Someone broke into the home of Heather Hazley, of 107 Hazley Lane, and stole $400 in cash, an Armani watch, five gold coins and a 9 mm pistol, according to state police in Indiana. A 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt bearing the registration number GNF 8908 was stolen Sunday afternoon while parked at the Indiana County fairgrounds, according to state police in Indiana. Police said the car, which belongs to Michael Holby, 49, of Penn Run, was taken between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
State police in Indiana said they cited Timothy Johnson, 22, and Amber Krimin, 19, for harassment following an argument between the two on Aug. 11 at a home along Route 422. Police said Krimin and Johnson hit and shoved each other.
