EDITH CLAPPER: Gay marriage ban biblical
September 01, 2013 1:50 AM

I am writing to address the clamor we hear about gay marriage. These people want the same rights and privileges as married people.

The Bible speaks plainly about homosexuals. Ever since Adam and Eve, marriage has been for husbands and wives. The Supreme Court struck down parts of the federal Defense of Marriage Act, paving the way for same sex marriage.

The Scripture says, “It is time for thee, Lord, to work, for they have made void thy law,” Psalm 119:126.

I believe it is time for God to act. Ruth Bill Graham said, “God will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah if He doesn’t deal with America.”

Marriage has always been the union of one man and one woman. There is no argument about God making Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
