NEW YORK — A wrecking ball has hit Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s relationship.

Representatives for both celebrities confirmed Monday that the couple have called off their engagement.

Hemsworth, 23, proposed to Cyrus, 20, last year. They met on the set of the 2010 movie “The Last Song.”

Cyrus, whose hits include “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball,” will release a new album called “Bangerz” on Oct. 8. The Australian-born Hemsworth was one of the stars of “The Hunger Games.” He will appear in the sequel, “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” that will be in theaters on Nov. 22.

Their breakup was first reported by People magazine.

NEW YORK — Billboard has named Pink its woman of the year.

Billboard announced Monday that the pop singer will receive the honor at its annual Women in Music event Dec. 10 in New York City.

Pink’s sixth album, “The Truth About Love,” has sold 1.7 million copies since it was released last year. It launched three Top 10 hits, including the No. 1 jam “Just Give Me a Reason.”

Past recipients of Billboard’s woman of the year award include Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Pink is currently on her international “The Truth About Love Tour.”

NEW YORK — It’s been three years since Sandra Bullock split from her husband, Jesse James, but she has no desire to go backward and examine what happened, especially not publicly.

Days after Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar for “The Blind Side,” tabloids reported James had cheated on her.

She reacted swiftly, by going under the radar and filing for divorce.

Now she tells Vogue, “We’re all where we’re supposed to be” and “I’m grateful that I’m here, blessed to have what I have.”

What Bullock has is a 3-year-old son named Louis who she adopted in January 2010, in the middle of awards season. She managed to keep him a secret for the first few months of his life.

Vogue’s October issue goes on sale Sept. 24.

NEW YORK — If you’re curious about Lily Collins and head to the Internet to find out, beware — McAfee has ranked the actress as the most dangerous celeb to search for online.

Collins— who starred in movies such as “Mirror, Mirror” and “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” — posed the biggest risk of landing on a malicious site, according the computer security company; last year Emma Watson topped the list.

Female celebrities were the overwhelming lure to malware; Avril Lavigne, Sandra Bullock, Kathy Griffin and Zoe Saldana rounded out the top five; “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm was the only man in the top 10.

A person could be led to malware after doing a general search and clicking on dubious links, but risks increased when searchers added phrases like “free apps” or “nude photos.”

LONDON — Prince Harry has spent the night in a giant freezer to simulate the conditions he will face when he treks to the South Pole this winter.

The 29-year-old royal, who will race with a team of injured British servicemen and women against groups from the United States and the Commonwealth, spent around 20 hours in a cold chamber where he was subjected to temperatures of minus 35 F, with wind speeds of 45 miles per hour.

Alongside four teammates — all amputees who lost limbs after sustaining injuries in Afghanistan — Harry tested the clothing he will wear on the 200-mile expedition and learned how to avoid frostbite.

NEW YORK — Julianne Moore is known for her milky white skin and striking red hair, but the actress says her “camera ready” look is much different than when she’s off the clock.

In fact, the 52-year-old tells In Style magazine that her friends tease her for wearing mostly yoga clothes when she’s not working.

She also says her 11-year-old daughter Liv recently saw a photo of her and proclaimed, “Mom, you don’t look like that!”

The actress says she explained to her daughter it was “the result of all these people working together.”

Moore says she appreciates the way a glam squad can make her look “so much better” but it “takes too much time.”

The October issue of In Style goes on sale Sept. 20.
