The IUP University Museum is hosting a gala to showcase the exhibit “Layers: Places in Peril,” by artist Judith Waller from the University of Wisconsin Fox Valley and earth scientist Dr. James A. Brey of the American Meteorological Society on Saturday.

The theme is “Masks, Music, A Night in Venice.” The gala will recreate a Venetian Carnevale Festival in contemporary Italy with a night of fine art, music, dinner and dancing. Pictured, from left, are Bill Double, exhibition coordinator; Walker and Brey.
