MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in central Pennsylvania have charged a woman in the hit-and-run death of her boyfriend, who they say was run over at the end of his driveway.

Esther Brubaker, 36, of Mechanicsburg, is charged in Cumberland County with homicide by vehicle and accidents involving death or injury.

Police allege that she struck and killed Jeremy Anderson, 34, with her minivan outside their home and then drove off, leaving him there.

District Attorney Dave Freed said the victim had noticeable tire marks on his body when he was found at about 5:45 p.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said neighbors reported hearing an argument before the crash.

Brubaker remains in custody; court documents don’t indicate whether she has an attorney.
