SOCCER: IASB teams win two matches

Indiana Area Soccer Boosters teams won two matches and forged a tie in another over the weekend.

The U-12 boys’ Redhawks beat East Allegheny, 5-2. Cian Williamson-Rea led Indiana with three goals. Danny Lee had three assists, and Malik Turner and Ethan Shearer each scored a goal. Williamson-Rea and Cameron Walls shared goaltending duties.

The U-12 girls’ Storm defeated Somerset, 4-3. Emily Sebring paced Indiana with two goals. Isabel Tillett and Renee Hill each had a goal, and Hill and Alicia Mitchell each played in goal.

The U-12 boys’ Blackhawks tied Kiski, 2-2. Aaron McKelvy and Elliott Hill each scored a goal for Indiana. Jack Turner played in goal.

The U-10 girls’ Lightning lost to the Pittsburgh Dynamos, 4-2. Monica Turnbull and Isabella Garzarelli each netted a goal for Indiana. Emily Scherf played in goal.
