Punxsutawney forced six turnovers in a 28-12 victory over Clarion-Limestone in a Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference football game Friday night.
The Chucks (3-3) came up with six interceptions, one each by Matt Burkett, Josh Schuckers, Keegan Fischer, Perry Arrington, Clayton Dale and Andrew Fedigan. Five of the interceptions came in the fourth quarter after the Chucks took a 28-12 lead.
Trailing 6-0, Punxsutawney took the lead on Christian Falgout’s touchdown and extra-point kick.
After Burkett’s interception, the Chucks made it 14-6 on Arrington’s 17-yard run.
In the second half, Dakota Thomas ran 15 yards for a score before Clarion-Limestone (2-4) cut the lead to 21-12.
Falgout extended the lead to 28-12 on a 6-yard run.
Punxsutawney plays host to Karns City on Friday.
