The second annual Oktoberfest will be held Saturday afternoon in downtown Indiana.
The fundraiser, which benefits Downtown Indiana Inc., is set for 3 to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the old borough building. Participants can sample beer from eight different breweries: Church Brew Works, Rivertowne, East End, North Country, Penn Brewery, Yuengling, Marzonis and Sam Adams.
Hiram & the Walkers, Baby in a Cage and DJ 4Dice will perform and there will be giveaways throughout the day.
The event benefits the main street and streetscape programs, including work in the 600 to 800 blocks of Philadelphia Street.
Tickets cost $35 per person, and that includes admission, a souvenir glass and endless beer samplings for three hours. Food will be available for purchase. Tickets may be purchased at the DI offices, at The 700 Shop and at Holiday Beverages. Tickets will also be available the day of the event.
