LATROBE (AP) — Greyhound will offer twice-daily round-trip service between downtown Pittsburgh and the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport starting Nov. 7.
Airport officials announced the new bus service Tuesday. Those traveling to the airport by plane or bus will also be able to reach other destinations by Greyhound bus.
The airport has drawn considerably more traffic since Spirit Airlines began offering flights from the airport to warmer, seasonal destinations. More than 400,000 passengers have flown on the discount airline to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Fla., Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Dallas.
