Quota International of Indiana, Pa. Inc. is working with Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s National Student Speech, Language and Hearing Association students to label earplugs for free distribution at noisy events in Indiana County, such as tractor pulls during the Indiana County Fair. More than 50 students volunteered to label more than 6,000 earplugs. The project is part of Quota’s hearing conservation campaign. Quota has distributed more than 10,000 earplugs over the last three years. Pictured, front row, from left, are Jamie Roche, secretary, and Ashley Irwin, treasurer.
