Nathan Tyger, a Life Scout and member of the Laurel Highlands Council Boy Scout Troop 11, worked with the Indiana County Head Start to complete the requirements for his Eagle Scout project.
Nathan constructed three benches, a science table and a portable potter’s bench for the Head Start playgrounds. On Sept. 25, he presented his projects at each Head Start location and talked to the children about his experiences as a Boy Scout.
Nathan would like to thank those who made monetary donations and volunteered their time to make his project a success. He would also like to thank Indiana County Head Start for the opportunity to contribute to their outdoor play spaces.
