As the minutes, hours, days and weeks go by, students here at the Indiana County Technology Center are preparing their pieces for the 2013 Skills USA Leadership Conference held at Seven Springs Ski Resort in Champion.

Skills is an organization students can participate in at their technology schools, preparing them for the future and giving them leadership skills, all while having fun and getting their education at the technical school. Halee Reasor, from Graphics and Electronic Media, put together the photo shown for the banner contest at the conference. Representatives from all 17 technology schools across western Pennsylvania get the opportunity to participate in several occupational contests related to their program.

This is an annual conference and takes place on Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

With lots of friendships being made and awards being won, the opportunity is something you cannot miss out on.
