October 30, 2013 10:49 AM

The Marion Center Area High School marching band has kicked off its fall citrus fundraiser. During this sale, band members will take orders for grove-fresh Florida navel oranges and Indian River red grapefruit.

In addition, buyers may choose to order anytime online. To order online, go to the Marion Center Area Schools home page at www.mcasd.net.

Fruit can be shipped directly to the buyer or delivered by a student.

This year’s sale will raise funds toward future performance trips as well as instrument equipment and accessories.

The sale, now in progress, will run until Nov. 8. Supporters may choose 10-pound, 20-pound or 40-pound boxes of oranges, grapefruit or mixed boxes of oranges and grapefruit.

Visit www.mcasd.net and find the link in the upper right hand corner for more information about the citrus sale or contact Jonathan Schaller, the band director, at (724) 397-5551, ext. 1110.
