Police report area incidents

INDIANA

Public drunkenness

Jillian L. Wagner, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, and Jenna M. Constantinovich, 19, of Meadville, were cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking on Friday, according to IUP campus police. Police said the women were found to be intoxicated while on a Putt Hall patio. They were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for observation, police said.

Kevin M. Fahy, 18, of Clark, N.J., was cited for public drunkenness and underage drinking on Saturday, according to IUP campus police. According to police, Fahy fell down several times while walking along Pratt Drive, injuring his face. He was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said.

 

 

Disorderly conduct

IUP campus police said they cited Rhys Albert Sloss, 22, of Pittsburgh, for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness on Saturday. According to police, officers saw Sloss staggering as he walked on Garman Avenue. Upon questioning, Sloss began to struggle with officers, police said. He was taken into custody and placed in the Indiana County Jail.

 

Theft from vehicle

Someone took a gas tank cap and windshield wiper blades from a vehicle parked at the Robertshaw Building lot sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday, according to IUP campus police.

 

Theft

A cashbox holding money raised during a fencing tournament was stolen from Zink Hall on Oct. 26, according to IUP campus police. Anyone with information has been asked to call police at (724) 357-2141.

 

Hit-and-run

A vehicle parked in the Folger Hall parking lot off Garman Avenue was struck sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 1:40 a.m. Saturday, according to IUP campus police.

WHITE TOWNSHIP

Burglary

Someone entered the home of Silvia Noronha, of Oak Drive, and stole a laptop computer on Oct. 23, according to state police in Indiana. Anyone with any information has been asked to call police at (724) 357-1960.

PLUMCREEK TOWNSHIP, ARMSTRONG COUNTY

Found property

Various power and hand tools, including an electric grinder and drill, a battery charger and a set of quarter-inch drive sockets, were found on a gas well road off Route 210 on Saturday, according to state police in Kittanning.

The owner may claim the tools by calling the state police barracks at (724) 543-2011.
