CLYMER — This past Friday, 11 students from Calvary Baptist Academy had the privilege of participating in a “Limo Luncheon.” A Hummer limousine was brought to the school around 11 a.m. and the 11 students then boarded the limo and were chauffeured to the Ponderosa Steak House in White Township for lunch.

The students were able to participate in this unique experience because they each had sold 20 containers of cookie dough in the school’s cookie dough fundraiser. The 11 students who earned this opportunity were Emma Dawley (K-4); Mikayla Mortimer (K-5); Troy Rattigan (K-5); Wyatt Ackerson (grade 2); Noah Meckley (grade 3); Miranda Pounds (grade 4); Shane Meckley (grade 6); Sam Colgan (grade 7); Logan Hoburg (grade 7); Ben Bradshaw (grade 12); and Erica Stephens (grade 12).

The students not only enjoyed getting out of classes to go to lunch in town, but they especially liked riding in the limousine. For some, this was their very first experience of riding in a limousine.
