Students at Indiana County schools will help provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the less fortunate of Indiana County through the annual Love Basket School Drive.

From Monday through Nov. 22, collection of nonperishable food items will take place in the Indiana, Penns Manor and Marion Center school districts.

Last year the students donated more than 8,000 items and $1,700. If you would like to help, but don’t have children in school, call (724) 357-9709 for more information. Giant Eagle provided the grocery bags for the food collection.
