Police: Man jailed after firing rifle in his home

GREEN TOWNSHIP — A Commodore man is in the Indiana County Jail after he allegedly fired a high-powered rifle in his home, state police at Indiana reported.

According to police, Kevin S. Skipcak, 34, of Green Township, was taken into custody after a firing round from his high-powered that then penetrated the walls of his home and into the wall of a neighbor’s house at 1:30 a.m. today on Cookport Road.

The home hit by the round was occupied, police said.
