Notes — The Penguins ride a four-game winning streak into a contest with the even hotter Sharks. The winner will be the second team, after Chicago, to reach 20 wins this season. … The Penguins are 1-14-1 against San Jose over the last 15 years, though they haven’t met since Nov. 3, 2011. … Evgeni Malkin is on a nine-game points streak, with four goals and 15 assists in that span. During the same time, Sidney Crosby has six goals and seven assists. James Neal has eight goals and six assists in the last eight games. … Crosby leads the league in scoring and is fourth in assists (23) and fifth in goals. Malkin leads in assists and is second in scoring (37 points). Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury (15-7-1, .918 save percentage) is tied for the league lead in shutouts (3) and is tied for third in wins.

About the Sharks — San Jose has won six in a row, most recently with a 4-2 victory at Toronto on Tuesday. Mike Brown, Joe Thornton, Brad Stuart and Logan Couture scored for the Sharks.
