Treasures for Children: Ways to Give
December 10, 2013 10:53 AM

In addition to gifts requested by individuals and listed on tags, the Treasures for Children program is also taking donations of children’s books; new winter wear such as hats, gloves and scarves; popular items such as Rainbow Looms, Duck Dynasty merchandise, makeup kits, full-size bottles of body lotion and Monster High dolls; and monetary donations, which program volunteers will use to purchase gifts.

Items should be unwrapped and include a label showing they are for the Treasures for Children program. Drop off gifts at Treasure trees at either the Kmart or Walmart store in White Township.

To make a financial contribution, send a check earmarked for The Salvation Army Treasures for Children Program to The Salvation Army at 635 Water St., Indiana, PA 15701.

Families in need of assistance this holiday season are encouraged to contact The Salvation Army at (724) 465-2530 as soon as possible.
