HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: Indians race past Carrick, improve to 6-0

PITTSBURGH — Luke Lewandowski had two goals and two assists to lead Indiana High to a 7-2 win over Carrick on Thursday in a PIHL Open Division game.

Noah Moody added two goals for Indiana, and Tom Petro had a goal and an assist. Jess Bartholow also scored a goal.

Dominick Glavach assisted on four goals, Matt Swatsworth had two assists, and Jacob Miller and Cam Lydick had one each.

Goalie Zane McElhenny stopped 16 shots on goal.

Indiana (6-0) travels to Connellsville on Monday.

• DELMONT — Tyler Barker collected two goals and an assist to lead Indiana to a 4-1 win over Norwin in a middle school hockey game Friday at Center Ice Arena.

Aaron Burkhart and Ed Williams each scored a goal for Indiana. Luke Wachob and Dillon Berezansky had an assist apiece, and goalie Madison Barker made 15 saves.

Indiana travels to Connellsville on Monday.
