YOUTH HOCKEY: IYHA teams win two of three over weekend

Indiana Youth Hockey Association teams won two of there games over the weekend.

• Ryan Neese collected four goals and an assist to lead the Bantam A Minor Gold team to a 9-2 win over the SHAHA Panthers at S&T Bank Arena on Sunday.

Clark Josephson added two goals and an assist, Nate Faris had a goal and four assists, and Brandon Boyer and Shayne Conner each chipped in a goal and an assist.

Zach Beitel notched three assists, Aaron Burkhart dished out two assists, Alex Guth-Borowski had an assist, and goalie Alec Stiffler made five saves.

• The visiting Squirt B2 Division team beat the Lawrence Lightning, 4-2, on Sunday.

Vince Belice and Isaac Myers scored two goals apiece to pace Indiana. Adam Clark dished out two assists, Alek Clark and Ricky Lias each had an assist, and goalie Corbin Murdick made 10 saves.

• The visiting Bantam A Minor Gold team got nipped by the Cambria Warriors, 2-1, on Saturday.

Faris scored Indiana’s lone goal on an assist from Nick Buchkovich. Goalie Stiffler made 16 saves.
