White Township

State police reported that a truck driven by Joseph Innerbrickler, of Pittsburgh, hit the guard rails along Route 119 on the bridge over East Pike at 5:25 a.m. Monday when Innerbrickler swerved to avoid a deer on the road.

The truck came to rest against the outside bridge rail and the cargo box came to rest on its side, partly blocking the northbound lane of the highway.

Troopers at Indiana said Innerbrickler, 26, was not injured.
