Host Blairsville pulled away in the second half for a 75-43 win over Derry in its final non-conference game of the season. The Bobcats outscored Derry 43-21 in the second half to race to their 14th straight win since losing to Class AAAA Hollidaysburg on Dec. 7.

“Everybody’s trying to get the rust off with all these cancellations and makeups,” Blairsville coach Ralph McGinnis said. “We started slow tonight, but turned it on in the second half.”

Chelsey Koren poured in a game-high 28 points, and Laurel O’Barto had 18. Both juniors had seven steals and five assists.

Nicole Boyer made four 3-pointers and scored 16 points, and Mikala Misleany pulled down 10 rebounds.

Morgan Roble led Derry with 14 points, and Lauren Felix scored 10.

Blairsville (15-1) visits Purchase Line this evening. Derry (3-13) plays host to California on Friday.
