Dancers from the Sue Hewitt Dance Studio performed Saturday at the Indiana Senior High School auditorium.
More than 150 dancers participated in “Dancers with Heart and Sole.” This group of dancers and parents within the studio raise money for a local group in need.
For the past seven years, the group has raised more than $40,000. Over the past six years, the money has been donated to The Salvation Army. Now in its eighth year, the dancers raised $6,000, the majority of which will again be donated to The Salvation Army.
The tagline of their shirts reads “We use the soles of our feet to dance and our hearts to give others a chance.” (Jamie Empfield/Gazette photo)
