Pierogi sale

Spaghetti dinner

The First Christian Church, Fifth and Water streets, Indiana, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children younger than 4.

Chicken-n-biscuits dinner

PUNXSUTAWNEY — The First Baptist Church of Punxsutawney will hold a chicken-n-biscuits dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. (or until sold out) today. The meal includes the main dish as well as a salad bar, vegetables, beverages, bread and dessert. Price is $8 per person. Takeout is available. Proceeds benefit church missions. Italian feast night

SHELOCTA — The Shelocta Presbyterian Church will be holding an Italian feast night from 4 to 7 p.m. today.

On the menu is spaghetti with meatballs, stuffed shells with marinara sauce, salad, garlic breadsticks, homemade desserts and hot or cold beverages. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and younger.

The Presbyterian Men’s Group is sponsoring the event to finance ongoing church renovations and local giving.

Ham dinner

MARION CENTER — A ham dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Marion Center Presbyterian Church. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6 to 12. Takeout is available at no extra cost. Proceeds benefit the church Mission and Maintenance funds.

Mission and camp auction

Bethel Presbyterian Church will hold its annual Mission and Camp Auction at noon Sunday at the church, 1470 Bethel Church Road, Indiana. Festivities include a soup and sandwich luncheon where a free-will offering will be received. An array of items will be auctioned off, and there will also be a silent auction. All are welcome.

Art exhibition

The First Unitarian Universalist Church, 285 Twolick Drive, White Township, invites the community to an upcoming art exhibition, “Ned Wert: Abstracted Images,” opening with a reception from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary gallery.

The paintings will be on display through May 25. Visitors may view Wert’s artwork from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 2 p.m. Sundays.

LEWISVILLE — An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville.

The cost is $7 per person. Takeout is available. Proceeds benefit the Rwanda Mission.

Revival services

KENWOOD — The Kenwood Church of the Nazarene will hold revival services with the Rev. Scott Ferguson Sunday through Wednesday.

A covered-dish dinner will be held at noon Sunday in the Family Center at the church. Sunday services are at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weekday services are at 7 p.m.

The Rev. Ferguson has ministered in Mexico, Russia, Jamaica, Belize and Ukraine.

His ministry reaches all ages. A talented vocal and keyboard artist, he has passion for saving souls.

Lenten soup luncheons

Soup luncheons open to the entire community will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays during Lent at Zion Lutheran Church, Sixth and Church streets, Indiana.

Every Tuesday, three different soups, including a vegetarian selection, will be offered with bread and dessert. Takeout is available. Diners will be asked to make free-will offerings to benefit the church’s community food pantry. This Tuesday the menu features winter warmer red lentil, teriyaki pork, and chicken and asparagus.

Biblical characterization

The Rev. Walt Marr will present a first-person biblical characterization at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cornerstone Worship Center, 500 Lenz Road, White Township.

CLYMER — The Clymer Ministerial Lenten Luncheon Series will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesdays during Lent. The schedule is:
