The exhibit “Picture Mixture” is on display through April 14 at Horace Mann Elementary Gallery, 205 S. Fifth St., Indiana.

Third-grade students re-created a work of art based on a description of the work by another student. The first-place winning entry of a portrait of Vincent Van Gogh was created by artist Maura Knepper, based on a description written by Braden Yanity.

To view the gallery show, visitors should go to the front of the building, where they will be buzzed in to the main office and escorted to the gallery. For more information, call (724) 463-8560. (Teri Enciso/Gazette photo)
