Brittney Palardy and Kim Hooven each scored a career-high five goals to help the eighth-ranked IUP women’s lacrosse team to an easy 21-7 win over host Millersville in a PSAC game on Friday.
The win was the Crimson Hawks’ fourth in a row, improving their overall record to 6-2 and their PSAC-mark to 4-0. Their last two wins have come by a combined 24 goals. IUP scored the first five goals of the game, with Hooven netting her hat trick less than five minutes in. Millersville scored three of the next four goals to cut the Crimson Hawks’ lead to 6-3 with 4:17 to go in the half.
Goalie Katie Davis made four saves and tallied four ground balls.
IUP plays host to Alderson- Broaddus on Sunday.
