HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY: Indiana falls in PAHL title game

Indiana won in a shootout in the semifinals but lost in the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League Pee Wee A Major White Division championship game over the weekend.

Indiana beat Mon Valley, 2-1, in a shootout on Saturday. Joey Semetkoskey and Tanner Russella scored int eh shootout, which followed two five-minute overtime periods. Owen Lydick scored the goal in regulation.

Eddy Williams and Russella each handed out assists.

Alex Nanni made 12 saves in goal.

Indiana dropped a 5-3 decision to Mount Lebanon in the championship game Sunday. Williams, Zach Eisenhower and Semetkoskey each scored a goal, and Gunner Sharp and Williams had an assist apiece.

Nanni made 10 saves.
