HOCKEY: IYHA team forges two ties

The Pee Wee A Major White team of the Indiana Youth Hockey Association forged a pair of ties in games over the weekend at the Three Rivers Cup Tournament.

• The Pee Wee A Major White team tied the Regency Panthers, 2-2, on Saturday.

Ed Williams had a goal and an assist to lead Indiana. Gunner Sharp scored two goals, Danny Brody dished out an assist, and goalie Alex Nanni made 16 saves.

• On Friday, the Pee Wee A Major White team tied North Pittsburgh, 3-3.

Zach Eisenhower led Indiana with two goals and an assist. Williams added a goal and an assist, Sharp, Brody, Owen Lydick and Nate Petro each tallied an assist, and Nanni made 13 saves.

• The Pittsburgh Predators defeated the Pee Wee A Major White division team, 7-3, on Sunday. Williams, Brody and Vinny Sherry scored a goal apiece for Indiana. Petro had two assists, Matt Berzonsky and Tanner Russella added an assist apiece, and Nanni made eight saves.
