Amish boy dies in farm accident
CHRISTIANA (AP) -- Officials in central Pennsylvania say an autopsy is scheduled today in the case of a 7-year-old Amish boy reported to have died in an accident on his family's farm.
The (Lancaster) Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era reported that family members told authorities that the boy fell into a grain wagon on the Sadsbury Township farm.
Police said in a statement that the boy was buried in the grain. They were called at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday after the family contacted a local funeral home.
Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni said based on the information available "it appears to be an accidental death."
The name of the victim has not been released.
