Indy race reviews security after Boston blasts

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis authorities are reviewing security for the upcoming 500 Festival Mini-Marathon following explosions at the Boston Marathon.


The NBA's Indiana Pacers released a statement saying everyone in the team's travel party was accounted for. The Pacers were in Boston for a game Tuesday.

Mass. nuke plant tightens security after blasts

WASHINGTON (AP) — The only nuclear power plant in Massachusetts has increased security after two bombs exploded in Boston on Monday, killing at least two people and injuring dozens. The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, Mass., about 45 miles south of Boston, was already shut down for refueling when the explosions occurred.

Boston blasts prompt UK review of London Marathon

LONDON (AP) — British police are reviewing security plans for Sunday's London Marathon, the next major international marathon, because of the bombs that killed two people at the race in Boston. But there is no known specific or credible threat against the hugely popular British race at the moment, a security official said.
