Michelle Stiles, of Blairsville, and Jason Schrecongost, of Dayton, were united in marriage on May 25, 2019, at Deertrak Golf Club in Rural Valley with Pastor Rodney Miller officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Darlene Stiles, of Blairsville. The groom is the son of Jodey and Karen Schrecongost, of Dayton.
Michelle is a 2009 graduate of Blairsville High School and a 2013 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Jason graduated in 2006 from West Shamokin High School and graduated in 2010 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in management information systems. He is employed at the family business, Schrec’s Auto Body & Sales, in Dayton.
The maid of honor was Kristy Rellick, of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included the sister of the groom, Kristen Schrecongost-Bowser, of Dayton; Jolene Boyle, of Robinson; Kali McPherson, of Penn Run; and Amanda Macko, of Willowick, Ohio.
The flower girls were the grandmothers of the couple, Frances Shacreaw, of Blairsville, the bride’s grandmother; and Marion Lucas, of NuMine, the groom’s grandmother.
The best man was Elias Arbuckle, of Rural Valley. Groomsmen were Jim Armstrong, of Dayton; Scott Kovach, of Rural Valley; Bryan Boarts, of Kittanning; and Tyler Graham, of Rural Valley.
The wedding ceremony was held outside on the golf course at Deertrak Golf Club in Rural Valley with the reception following. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing with a live band, Superbad Cleveland, from Cleveland, Ohio.
The couple took a pre-honeymoon following the wedding to Myrtle Beach, S.C., with a honeymoon planned in the fall to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, followed by an elk hunt in Utah.
The couple will reside in Homer City.
