Homer-Center throwers and siblings Teagan and Justley Sharp opened the high school track and field season with a big day at the Igloo Meet at Mansion Park in Altoona on Saturday. Both broke school records. Teagan, a senior, threw 161 feet in the boys’ discus, and Justley, a sophomore, threw 37-10½ in the girls’ shot put. In keeping with the family theme, their father, Wes, coaches Homer-Center’s throwers under head coach Matt Rodkey.
