"Gigaroo" draws music fans for a good cause

GIGAROO Iselin Community Park - Young Township

Pittsburgh-based "Winter's Descent" performed at "Gigaroo" in Iselin on Saturday afternoon.

Gigaroo started in 2000 and over the years has helped raised thousands of dollars to help defray medical expenses for a sick child in the area. The two day event, which featured 16 bands, was sponsored by the Leechburg Moose Lodge 102.

The 2018 recipient is 7 year old Layten Bowser, who was diagnosed with stage 4 high-Risk Neuroblastoma two weeks after he started Kindergarten.
