On Wednesday, Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Police Academy will conduct what a university spokeswoman termed “active assault training” at the R&P Building, 629 Fisher Ave. on campus.
“The students will be using simunitions and blanks,” IUP Executive Director of Media Relations Michelle Fryling said Monday. “Simunitions are simulated ammunition.”
Fryling believed just the Police Academy would be involved.
“Signs will be posted and three instructors will be at the training,” Fryling added.
