Online court records show Jerome Robinson, 38; Percy Spearman, 38; and Doneisha Thomas, 24, all of Indiana, have been exonerated.
They had been charged by Indiana Borough police after the residents of an apartment at 2 N. Foundry Ave. said the trio came to their door just before 4 a.m. June 16, demanded money, forced their way in and started an altercation.
Borough police said a youth in the apartment was sent to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Investigators had filed 12 charges against Robinson and Spearman and 14 counts against Thomas, including felony counts of robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, criminal trespass and riot.
Robinson and Spearman were arrested that day and were kept in Indiana County Jail more than three weeks while they were unable to post $75,000 bond.
Spearman, who apparently hasn’t been seen since the break-in was reported, was absent from the court Friday when police withdrew the charges. Online records show Judge Jennifer Rega dismissed the charges that the others had faced when they appeared for a scheduled court appearance Wednesday.
