Members of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania ENACTUS Team (Entrepreneurs in Action) raised $415.20 and collected more than 200 pounds of food for the Indiana County Community Action Program food pantry.

The drive was part of the Campbell’s Let’s Can Hunger food drive initiative. Students collected the funds and food items through a series of campus food drives, collecting outside of the local Giant Eagle store and during a three-on-three basketball tournament.

Pictured, from left, are Jesse Miller, ICCAP food program director; Labreea Abraham, an accounting and finance major from Philadelphia; Douglas Risk, an entrepreneur major from Peach Bottom; Anthony Flowers, an international business-finance major from Highlands Heights; and Kyle Hurlbrink, a management information systems major from Birdsboro, all IUP ENACTUS members; and Aimee Kemp, ICCAP food bank counselor.

Chief Photographer Tom Peel has been photographing events in the county since 1966. He started with the Gazette while in high school and then came on board full-time in 1969. So if you do something good, bad or just interesting, he will most likely be there to take your picture. Tom can be reached at or 724-465-5555 ext. 275.
