ARMAGH — The second annual Back-to-School Blowout will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 16 at Valley Grace Brethren Church, at Routes 56 and 22, Armagh.
Teachers from the United School District, along with volunteers from the Women of Faith group of Valley Grace Brethren Church, have planned the event as a way to reach out to the children of the community and help them start the school year right.
The three rules for this free event are: children must be present to participate; children must be accompanied by an adult, regardless of age; and the event is not income-based. It is open to all school-age children.
There will also be a bake sale, with proceeds going to help children in need throughout the school year.
