BINGO: The Elderton Volunteer Fire Department sponsors bingo every Thursday. Early bird starts at 6:45 p.m. with the regular game at 7 p.m.
MEETING: The Brush Valley Senior Citizens will meet at noon Sept. 4 at the Brush Valley Fire Hall. Entertainment will be provided by an Amish singing group. Please bring a covered dish or dessert and your plate and utensils.
DANCE: The Dynamic Singles will hold their first Friday of the month dance from 9 p.m. to midnight Sept. 6 at the Indian Springs Golf and Country Club, 824 Indian Springs Road, White Township. The DJ for the evening will be KAOS.
All singles over the age of 21 are welcome. Bring your friends for an evening of fun and dancing. There will be a snack at 9 p.m. Admission is $8.

RAFFLE: A raffle and silent auction will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Keystone Sportsmen’s Club in Atwood to benefit Hunt of a Lifetime. The raffle and auction are worth thousands of dollars in overnight stays, train rides, plane rides, boat rides, art works, signed books, wine baskets, handmade furniture, gift cards and more.
The public is invited and the kitchen will be open for lunch. This is also the last 3-D shoot for the year. The auctions will close at 1:30 p.m. and the raffles will be drawn. Winners need not be present.
All proceeds from the raffles, auctions, kitchen, donations and bow shoot will sponsor a 15-year-old boy who wants to go on a muledeer hunt.
