Downtown Indiana fills BID job

on January 03, 2013 10:45 AM

Downtown Indiana Inc. recently named Adam Karabinos as its new business improvement district maintenance person.

Bill Juart had filled this position throughout 2012. He recently decided to terminate his employment with DI and now plans to enjoy his retirement with his wife.

Karabinos will begin working at Downtown Indiana later this week.

"We are aware of the snow situation within the BID and will work with Mr. Karabinos to have it removed as soon as possible," said Jessica Bowman, Main Street director.

"We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and ask that property and business owners please remain patient during this transition of employees and work with our new employee to get the snow removed.

"We are excited to have Mr. Karabinos be part of the DI team and are confident that he will do an excellent job at maintaining the BID area."

Karabinos is a resident of Indiana. Before joining Downtown Indiana, he was a grounds keeper for the past five years at Bakobils Farm, Rector. His experience there provided him with the skills and expertise required for the BID position.
