May is foster care month and Indiana County Children and Youth Services celebrated its 29th annual Foster and Resource Parent night recently at The Rustic Lodge, White Township.

The annual event is sponsored in part by the Citizens’ Advisory Board and through community donations. Currently, Indiana County has 27 licensed foster and kinship care homes serving the needs of children, youths and their families.
