Upcoming community church events scheduled
The annual Indiana Church of the Brethren yard sale will begin at 8 a.m. June 14 in the parking lot of the church, 905 McKnight Road, White Township.
Festival and bazaar
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, Lewisville, will be holding a festival and bazaar from 4 to 7 p.m. June 14 at the Church, located at 5620 Newport Road, Clarksburg. There will be a used book sale, basket raffle and homemade baked goods. Food items offered are lamb sandwiches, hot dogs, ham barbecues and sausage sandwiches, potato salad and baked beans and angel food cake, ice cream and strawberries.
Ice cream social
DAYTON — The Dayton United Methodist Fundraising Team is sponsoring an ice cream social from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 14 at Dayton United Methodist Church.
The menu includes ham barbecue, hot dogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, chili, haluski, banana splits, sundaes, pie, angel food/strawberries and Dairy Queen ice cream. Quarts can be ordered ahead of time, $3.50 for a quart or $5.50 for two quarts.

Father’s Day dinners
Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church, corner of Tanoma Road and Route 286 East, Rayne Township, will hold a Father’s Day roast beef and holupki dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on June 15. The cost is $10 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children ages 4 and younger. The public is welcome. A fast takeout line is available.

ROBINSON — The Helping Hands of Robinson Evangelical United Methodist Church will hold a turkey dinner on Father’s Day, June 15, in the church fellowship hall at 332 Mary St., Robinson.
The cost is $8 for adults and teens, $3 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children ages 4 and younger. Takeout is available.
KITTANNING — Harvest Community Church is offering a CPR training class from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 19 and July 17 at the Kittanning Campus, 143 Reed Road, Kittanning. Those attending will receive a free CPR kit. Register at www.harvestpa.org. Classes are open to all.
SAXONBURG — A two-day yard sale benefiting Lutherlyn Day Camp will be held rain or shine from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 20 and 21 in Centennial Hall at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 110 State St., Saxonburg.
Vendors can sell their items for $10 a table. Donations also are being accepted (no electronics). For tables, contact Gayle Gundlach at (724) 352-4205 by June 18. Setup will take place June 19.
The Community Day Camp will be held July 13 to 18 at St. Luke’s church.
Women’s fellowship dinner
PENN RUN — The Penn Run Christian Outreach Center, 75 Grace Center Road, Penn Run, will hold a women’s fellowship dinner from 1 to 4 p.m., June 21.
Tickets are $10 each and are available at the Penn Run Christian Outreach Center. Entree choices are baked chicken or steak. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Proceeds will be used for local mission work.
ROBINSON — The Robinson Church of the Brethren will hold gospel and contemporary Christian music concerts at 6 p.m. Sundays at the church, High Street, Robinson. The schedule is as follows:

• Sept. 21, Southern gospel music, CrossOver
ARMAGH — The second annual Back to School Blowout will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 16 at Valley Grace Brethren Church, at Routes 56 and 22, Armagh.
Teachers from the United School District, along with volunteers from the Women of Faith group of Valley Grace Brethren Church, have planned the event as a way to reach out to the children of the community and help them start the school year right.
The three rules for this free event are: children must be present to participate; children must be accompanied by and adult, regardless of age; and the event is not income-based. It is open to all school-age children.
There will also be a bake sale, with proceeds going to help children in need throughout the school year.
