Vacation Bible school programs announced

The following churches have scheduled vacation Bible schools in coming weeks:

• Black Lick United Methodist Church. “Camp Son” from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9 at the Black Lick Fire Hall, Main Street, Black Lick. Lorraine and Larry Henry will present the program. All children in the community are invited to attend.

• Calvary Bible Church, 19032 Route 286, Hillsdale. “God’s Incredible World,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 12 to 16 at the church parsonage. Ages 4 to 13. Special prizes will be given to those who register ahead of time and are in attendance Aug. 12. To register or for more information, call (814) 743-5448.

• Clymer Presbyterian Church, Sixth and Hancock streets, Clymer. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Cornerstone Worship Center, 500 Lenz Road, White Township. “Zion Express,” 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Conductor Walt Marr will be the guide. Passengers will learn a specific life lesson each night from the Bible, railroad facts and will have the opportunity to make special crafts. Pastor Paul Price invites the public to attend. • Indiana Alliance Church. “Mega Sports Camp,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 5 to 9 at the White Township Recreation Center. Age 4 to grade 6. Free. Basketball, soccer and cheerleading. All skill levels welcome. Learn skills for sports and for life. To register, call Lisa at (724) 541-5441.

• Kenwood Church of the Nazarene. “Tell It on the Mountain,” from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Aug. 12 to 16. Ages 4 through teens. Stories, music, skits, refreshments and crafts.
