MOOSE ASSOCIATION: The Pennsylvania Moose Association Scholarship Program will provide numerous $2,000 scholarships for eligible high school seniors (Class of 2019).

The applicant’s father, mother, stepparent, grandparent or legal guardian must be a good standing member of the Moose in order to apply.

Deadline for submitting an application to the PMA is Jan. 15.

JANESSA FLEMING MEMORIAL FUND: A scholarship is available through the Janessa Fleming Memorial Fund. This fund was established in memory of Janessa Fleming and will award scholarships as well as grants to 501(c)(3) charities that best reflect the beautiful and compassionate person Janessa was.

This scholarship’s criteria includes any deaf or hard of hearing student wishing to continue his or her post-secondary education in any field or for anyone, hearing or deaf, who is seeking a career that directly benefits the deaf community.

Examples of this would include but not be limited to audiology, deaf education, speech pathology or as a sign language interpreter.

The application and supporting documents must be postmarked no later than March 22, 2019.
