The Indiana Free Library will host an end of summer reading celebration at Yellow Creek State Park on Friday at 8 p.m.
Prizes for summer reading and participation will be awarded to those in attendance at the beginning of the event and refreshments and light snacks will be served. After that a star-gazing event will be held. IFL and Yellow Creek State Park will require all in attendance to practice safe social distancing throughout the entire event.
Bring a blanket or chair to view the stars, but keep groups to those in your family and at least 6 feet apart.
Also, bring your cellphone or other device that you have downloaded an astronomy app to identify any visible constellations and stars.
