50TH ANNIVERSARY: Michael and Catherina Popson
Michael “Mike” and Catherina “Kitty” (Gregory) Popson, of Indiana, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24. They were married Aug. 24, 1964, at St. Bernard’s of Clairvaux Catholic Church, Indiana.
Mike is the son of the late Joseph Popson and Katherine Serrian.
Kitty is the daughter of the late Lawrence Gregory and Lella Wallace.
Mike is a retired career employee of the U.S. Postal Service.
He enjoys spending his free time fishing.
Kitty was employed with Sears Maintenance and Agreement services for numerous years. She then moved to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she retired from the arts and entertainment department after more than 25 years of service. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and swimming aerobics.
Mike and Kitty are loving and devoted parents and grandparents to three children and five grandchildren: Lisa and her husband, Ron Moreau, of Indiana, and their son, Ron Moreau Jr., of Madrid, Spain; Michele and her husband, Frank Camilli II, of Cranberry Township, and their three children, Natalie, Noel, and Nico, of Cranberry Township; and Mike and his wife Melanie (Perfetti) Popson, of Indiana, and their daughter, Hope, of Indiana.
Mike and Kitty will enjoy an anniversary trip to Ocean City, Md., where they have spent many years on family vacations.
