National Honor Society inducts area student
Tyler Cousins was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Penn State chapter, on March 16, 2014.
Cousins, the son of Chris and Donna Cousins, of Indiana, attends Penn State University, University Park campus, with a double major in nuclear engineering and political science.
Phi Eta Sigma, founded in 1923, is the oldest and largest freshman honor society in the country. The Penn State chapter boasts hundreds of members and focuses on a number of service-related activities.
The Phi Eta Sigma mission is to reward and encourage scholastic excellence among students from all curricula who have received a grade-point average of 3.5 or above during their first or second semester at Penn State.
