Geneva College Dean’s List
Geneva College, Beaver Falls, has announced the following area students, listed with their major, were named to the dean’s list for the spring semester:
Blairsville: Ashley Kuntz, junior Pk-4 Ed/pk-8 Special Ed
Homer City: Elizabeth Weaver, sophomore, communication
Indiana: Richard Louther, sophomore, communication; Caleb Ludwig, sophomore, engineering; Myriah Farmer, freshman, communication disorders; Shannon Smith, freshman, communication disorders
New Florence: Kody Oliver, sophomore, engineering
Landis Paige Hohl, of Elderton, graduated magna cum laude during commencement ceremonies May 18 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Science degrees in nuclear medicine and safety science.
Hohl has started an internship in Lewistown.
A 2008 graduate of Elderton High School, she is the daughter of Jeffrey J. Hohl and Shawnee Boyer Hohl. Her grandparents are Don and Louise Boyer, Elderton, and Phyllis Hohl, Kittanning.
Katlyn Misleany, a 2010 graduate of Indiana Area Senior High School and a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear medicine technology, has been accepted at the Nuclear Medicine Institute at the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio, where she will complete her degree.
The one-year program will begin with an academic portion this fall at NMI and then be followed by 35 weeks of clinical training at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
She is the daughter of Kandis Overdorff, of Indiana.
Evan Wozniak, of New Florence, was awarded the Order of the Engineer at a ceremony in May at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y.
The Order of the Engineer, a national recognition, is given to graduates and registered engineers to foster the spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession.
Wozniak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering.
